An other trick to ease up the stress is to reconnect with your body during the day, especially at work:
1) you leave yourself notes in your day schedule for example (I put a little star in mine)to remind you to do the next step
2)whenever you can, you make sure to notice how you are breathing, how your feet feel, and your legs, your back, your shoulders, etc.

Often you can readjust yourself in a more comfortable position or stretch just a bit. It literally takes about 30 seconds and it reminds you that while your head is in go-go-go mode, your body is in no danger and therefore there is no need to go into survival mode. When your body is less tense as you work, you use up less energy.
It's really hard to change habits so keep up the good work!

I'm not sure what your BC of choice is but, if you are able, you should start tracking ovulation too. I know...TMI but if your cycles are that wonky you might be able to spot some trends that can be corrected with the help of a good doctor. A friend of mine had great RE in North Houston, Dr Dorothy Roach. I know that would probably be a hike from your part of town but they may be able to recommend someone that is closer. Good luck with the relaxation ritual. I need to do something like that myself.

Online RSVPs worked super well for us. We started getting RSVPS on our wedding website right after sending out the Save-the-Date. Well before the invites were even mailed. Some people requested not to have a paper invite to be more eco-friendly! Online RSVPS were free and super convient. Even my husband's grandfather was able to figure it out (though he did RSVP twice?). We also included a phone number for phone RSVPs but only got maybe one or two of those. I highly recommend it if most of your guests have email and internet access.

I've been pleasantly surprised with the ease of online invitations. We have had to call a few people but we're less than a month from the wedding and just about everyone that I expected to RSVP has. Some people never got back to us but we aren't expecting them to show up unannounced. I sent out a reminder email a month after the initial invite and emphasized the "RSVP by" date. So I would definitely recommend online invites. Saves a ton of money and makes things easier...at least in my case.

I gotta say I think most of our guests would be confused by online RSVPs. This is one of those things that I'm willing to throw money (and paper!) at to make my life easier and give me one less thing to field phone calls and emails about.

We're also doing a combination of online replies and phone replies. The trouble is, I can already tell some people won't use either. Some people will tell one of our sets of parents that we're coming and think that's their RSVP. Some people will assume we already know they're coming.

No matter how you set up your RSVPs, you're most likely going to have to call people to follow up. Better to check than to have them show up and not have a seat or a dinner!

This is so true. I had a death in the family last week, and told my husband not to come home with me, there was nothing he could do, he would just be bored, etc., etc. He told me he was coming, that was that. I leaned on him, and he supported me and my family, more in the last week than I ever thought I would need or he could provide. This is what marriage is about. The fun stuff is easy. The hard part is the real thing.
