Phew. The ring orders are in. Our final choices are pictured here (although my ring will have an orange stone instead of the ruby).The process of ordering jewelry from afar has been a little difficult (lots of e-mails back and forth with wait time in between). It was also a little taxing for our friends and family to mail their stuff in. But I'm crossing my fingers that it will all work out.
In the end, however, the donation turnout for old gold to be recycled into our rings was amazing. Here is the list of participants (in alphabetical order):
