Plus, we sent all guests a post-wedding follow-up e-mail to ask them to upload their photos to a centralized flickr account (i.e., I gave everyone the username and password).
Thus far, the only downside (knock on wood) has been that some goofballs are messing with our welcome message. They changed it from "Of a Feather" to "Sawubona" (sorry, Grandma and Grandpa).
I guess it's a small price to pay for 1,641 photos (so far!).
Five minutes later: it's now up to 1,675!
[Editor's Note: I just learned that "Sawubona" is a Zulu greeting that flickr cycles through. I'm an idiot!]

that's such a fun idea! and alot of pics to peruse. I bet you're having fun reliving all those moments through other people's eyes.
Have you run into any problems with there being too many photos uploaded? Or did you upgrade to a Pro-Account?
I did upgrade to the pro-account, so I haven't had to worry at all! Definitely let me know if you have more questions.
This is a great idea that I am eager to try out for our pre-wedding, wedding and reception photos. I do have one question though. I already have a Flickr account for my photography. Do you know of a possibility where I can add a second "account" to my existing Flickr account??
Thanks for sharing a great idea!
