Our Dog is Hurt and Missing

My trusty dog, Hoss, and I were on the front porch this morning. Power still hasn't been restored post-Ike, and it's much cooler outside.

Hoss somehow managed to slip out of his collar. He ran toward another dog across a busy street, was hit by a car, and continued running. Now we are unable to find him. We worry that he is hurt and hiding.

We have scoured the neighborhood for several hours, by car, bike, and foot. We have also called all the animal clinics and hospitals. We are currently getting flyers printed so we can pass them out this afternoon.

I will be taking a break from blogging until we resolve this crisis.

Please send your telepathic well-wishes our way....

Oh, Sara, I'm so very very sorry. This is terrible.
I will pray (even if you don't want me to) that he comes home safe and sound.

Please, please let me know if there is anything I can do. We will walk this evening and I will distribute the picture of Hoss to my neighbors in this area that I have e-mails for.

I hope you find him safe and sound very quickly. This woman http://martawilliams.com/ is an animal communicator, and can communicate telepathically with animals (even lost animals she's never met before). I've read her book and she's described helping people in situations similar to yours. You could try her techniques yourself as well (trying to mentally communicate with Hoss and the need for him to come out of hiding).

Oh Sara, I'm so sorry. Does he have an ID chip? Another thing you can do is call the vets in your area to tell them your details in case someone brings him in.
