Love and Justice Will Prevail

"Fidelity": Don't Divorce... from Courage Campaign on Vimeo.

I just got an e-mail from the Courage Campaign asking me to sign a petition in support of the 18,000 same-sex marriages that joyously took place in California before Proposition 8, which are at risk of being invalidated by the Supreme Court.

When I watched the video of photographs of loving couples, I saw a picture of one of my college professors and her partner at their wedding!

I couldn't help but cry as I watched photo after photo of people who love each other and want to legally and officially commit to each other and yet experience injustice in a country that advocates "liberty and justice for all."

If you haven't already seen the video, definitely take a minute to watch it and then sign the petition to show your support and solidarity for marriage for all.

Aw. Crap. Saw this on Practical Wedding and bawled my way through it and had to do it again on this site.
