I've been looking for Robert Ridgely at the Santa Monica Promenade since I saw this video! This video simply takes off about halfway through and left me with such happy thoughts and feelings.
i saw the blind guy play on leno! we are thinking about having stand by my as our recessional-played by my sister on the cello and her boyfriend on guitar :)
Grandpa Elliot was amazing! I wish they'd come to Houston. I've always wanted to go to New Orleans, and this makes that desire stronger! I'm also at a tough point in my life, and this made me cry again, but in a good way. So thank you for sharing this :) -Therese
i looked this up, and it's a documentary called "Playing for Change: Peace through Music" where they go around the world and record music. The documentary is due to be released soon, but a few of the songs are already released on youtube. they're DEFINITELY worth looking up.

We're the kind of people who would rather be outside than in. We drink mostly water. A lot of it. We're the kind of people who put on costumes at Halloween and drive around town delivering brownies (with bows) to friends and random people in the service industry. We cook four nights a week and eat out three. We're passionate about making the world better, and we spend lots of time actually trying to do it.

Washboard Chaz is amazing. Next time you're down in NOLA, please, stop by and see him!
