Balloon Wedding Garland

Ooh la la.This image from TiaraMia via my friend Shyla's blog, Cupcakes & Curry, makes me smile. I think balloons like these should make a comeback.

What a fun way to say, "Happy Friday!" (Or, "Happy Love + Wedding!")

I've never met a balloon that I didn't love.

i love the colored balloons with the sun behind it! very pretty effect! the only kind i tend to shy away from are the 2 color balloon arches. personally, it reminds me of prom or the 70s. or a 70s prom. But, to each his/her own, you know?

yes this is very pretty but seeing balloons like this so close to the water makes me worry. balloons fly off and pop and the rubber can be very dangerous to wildlife who might think it is food. not very eco-friendly i don't think.

@ Anonymous: Thanks for bringing the environmental considerations to the forefront! I didn't think about the balloons flying off and into the water. Yuck.

my first thought was also "not eco friendly" so... my values would never let me do it, as pretty as it may seem

This is really lovely! The sun behind the balloons add a nice dramatic effect to the whole decor. I just hope when these are used, they don't accidentally pop because of the heat. I agree, this could pose a threat to birds also. Thanks!
