Fun Things to Do at a Wedding

I'm a big fan of making weddings fun, and I've got a new idea to add to my ongoing list: Rent a Snoball Truck.

This Snoball Truck parks at a grocery store within walking distance of our house and serves up delicious, snowy goodness. They have more than 26 flavors to choose from, and they will soon use biodegradable cups, straws, napkins, spoons, and carriers.

You can find them on Facebook.

you know what's funny? my aunt owns a snowcone truck. i was totally thinking saturday (when my friend and i partook in some sugary goodness) how fun a snow cone truck would be at the wedding. It's an outdoor ceremony, but the reception is in a 2nd story loft, so it wouldn't pan out as well as i'd wish.

@ megan: Can you serve them before the ceremony as folks are arriving? We served bottles of rootbeer and water, but if I had a snowcone truck in my family, it would have been snowcones! Or, can people grab one as they head into the reception? Just some thoughts...

Thanks for sharing this place! Ive been looking for a place to get snowcones like this in Houston. Its great! Did you talk to them about if they served partys.

@ Roxanne: Yes! They do parties and corporate events (and charity events).

@Sara: I think we could probably park it out front of the house (www.vicbb.com)where the ceremony is, but I can just see blue and red stains on clothes and mouths. However, I also think it'd be pretty funny to have it parked out in front of such an ornate building. I'll toss the idea out to my FH and see what he thinks.

I bet my aunt would do parties around the Galveston Co area, so if y'all need it, let me know and I can ask. mtagle729@aol.com
