Why, oh why, didn't the post office sell these amazing love stamps when I was planning a wedding? Matt and I didn't have money in the wedding budget for the photo stamps I desperately wanted to create. We had to resort to the Florida panther (since we used postcard stamps). It was seriously the only option. Ugh.
Oh well. It was a good learning experience about how to step outside one's crazy wedding planning self and try to stay grounded. I resorted to my mantra: "It's about community, connection, commitment, and fun--not ___________." [insert postage stamps]

I saw these recently and thought they were totally adorable!
But we're doing postcards, too. *sigh* oh well :)
Duuuuudeeee . . . I totally bought these for my wedding invitations! And was wondering why The Knot didn't have a cost allocation for stamps, it ran me like $80. Here's hoping the price of stamps doesn't increase in the next seven months. HA!
this year's postacrd postage stamp is a polar bear. it's awesome for our save-the-dates that will be going out for our spring wedding. lol.
oh well, at least the wedding stamps can be cool!
I love the stamps. Alas, we're just going with the good ole fashioned liberty bell stamps. :)
Very cute....but I will have to put off buying until next year. If I buy them now, the price is almost surely going to go up again as it has been. Why can't they make some sort of "love" stamp that is also a forever stamp? Will it always just be the Liberty Bell? Come on...something for all the girlie girls out here!
We used these and I just love them. I agree though about budgeting for them - they ended up about 1/4 of our entire invitation budget!
Word to the wise, the first time the usps sent them out, our carrier mis-delivered them. Um..how ironic that they mis-delivered their own package, eh? If you order them, make sure to make it "signature required"!
I just mailed our invites today, and used these!!!! They went so perfect with our orange envelopes!!! :-)
I love those stamps. But look, they even have a wedding ring stamp!

I picked these out in the post office when buying for my invitations.....and at the checkout, the lady tried to sell me the "wedding rings laying on top of each other" "typical wedding stamps". No way. These are pretty cool.
I'm mailing our invites with these stamps tomorrow!!
Heh. Our RSVP envelopes had these stamps on them. The invites themselves...had the Simpsons stamps. I was tickled pink when the gal I enlisted to mail the invitations told me what she'd chosen, and that she'd picked the Simpsons over the interlocking rings because the latter made her gag a little. There's something to be said for whimsy, right?
We used these for our invitations! I only wished we could put two on each envelope so it looked like the picture! ;)
