Love Song du Jour
Matt drove to Florida this past weekend for a friend's birthday party. I opted to forgo the 20-hour drive round trip in order to relax and rejuvenate at home.
He called from the road and told me to listen to "Mexican Blue" by Jolie Holland.
This song would be a lovely wedding song.
(Um, please excuse the images in this random "fan video" from YouTube.)

Ok, this subject has been occupying my mind lately. I want to walk down the aisle to a love song that isn't your typical love song. A friend suggested Led Zepplin's "All of my love". Tempting but does anyone have any other suggestions? My fiance' and I love all music but usually end up listening to Wilco, Willie Nelson and the reggae show on our community radio station.
I've awarded you the Lovely Blog Award! Check out the details at my blog!

@ Sarah - We had the grandparents, parents, and attendants enter to "Little Martha" by the Alman Brothers and then I entered to Johnny Cash's version of "Would You Lay With Me".
"All of my love" is actually a beautiful song! I am using Rolling Stones' "Wild Horses" played on acoustic guitar by one of my BMs.
