Well, it's about that time to pack up and bid you a (brief) farewell for the holidays.
What holiday sweetness do you have planned for your nearest and dearest? I'm busy crafting as many homemade things as I can from materials I already have on hand. Well, I should say that I'm busy "planning" as many homemade things as I can. I haven't actually done too much. As far as Matt goes, I'm signing him up for a woodworking class; it's something he's been talking about wanting to learn for a while.
Pretty soon, we'll be off on our holiday adventure. We have quite the itinerary planned for ourselves. First, we're driving our bloodhound (and maybe our chickens? What do you think, Mom?) to Tampa, Florida, to see my family. Then we fly to Bloomington, Indiana, to see Matt's family. We'll be back in Florida to attend a friend's New Year's Birthday Party. And then we pack it all up and head back home.
So, blogging is not on the docket for now, but I promise to be back in January!
In the meantime, please feel free to e-mail me your ideas for posts. I'm always eager to hear from you!
Be well and be in touch,
s.

Safe Travels and Happy Holidays!
tampa, florida?!
you'll be in my neck of the woods!
enjoy the cooler weather down here while you can :)
Sounds like quite an adventure! We're also hitting the holiday roads early tomorrow AM with our vizsla, Drew, in the backseat, heading to Austin to be with my parents for Christmas. We're bringing some books on CD including "The Worst Noel" and David Searis's "Holidays on Ice" to keep things entertaining and Christmas-y. Happy holidays!
Safe travels! Hope you, Matt, Hoss and the chickens have a great holiday.
And I know what you mean about planning a ton of handmade idea. I've done the same thing but I've been waiting to be done with school for the semester before really starting anything so I won't get started until Monday. Sometimes we crafty people bite off more than we can chew, eh?
Happy Holidays!
Have a great Holiday escapade! My family will be staying home because my relatives are coming. Merry Christmas!
Have a great time wherever you go, Sara :)
Have a great holiday season and be safe!
Enjoy your break! And build nice memories! I probably will be staying home foe the rest of the break and spend quality time with my family.
Just found your blog, can't wait to read your posts this year.
