Wedding Bunting

I'm quite happy with the "bunting fad" that's bouncing around the blogosphere. I adore the happy flags that declare cause for celebration.

I especially like this version from SouleMama. I think it would make a lovely addition to any wedding or pre-wedding party with words like: joy, community, love, celebrate, commitment, happiness.

What other words would work well?

I love this idea!

One of my favorite wedding banners I've seen says "Better Together". The one I saw on Etsy was made with paper, but I'm sure it could easily be recreated through bunting.

I always like the traditional 'Just Married' or 'Newlyweds'. I am making a paper banner similar to this that says 'Just Married' to go above my cake table. :)

We're doing an Italian theme in honor of his family who will be coming in from Italy. I keep toying with the idea of stringing up Italian words of joy and celebration....this would work on the bunting. :) Sadly....the venue doesn't allow us to hang anything. So, it would have to be small versions draped from the hand rails around the site.

This is a little unrelated, but I just wanted to say thanks for your blog. I haven't read through all of it, but it inspired me to make our wedding about US and not all the expectations this crazy wedding industry places on us! So thank you!
