There's so much inspiration in the blogosphere.
I thought I would share a few of my favorite finds this week (although some of them are a little old):
- Turning a regular old canvas into a chalkboard canvas. The possibilities are endless!
- This family makes matching pajamas to celebrate Winter Solstice. Matching pajama pants would be an awesome way to thank your wedding party or other people who are near and dear to your heart.
- Yes, you really can elope if you want to.
- If you're thinking about making gift baskets for any reason, consider going the semi-DIY route.
- Need a wall-sized calendar to map out your wedding planning (and the rest of your non-wedding planning life)? Try chalkboard paint squares.
- Consider this organic bedding for your registry (or a birthday/Hanukkah/Christmas present).
- Commemorate your love with this poster.

I absolutely love that poster. It reminds me of when we first got our own apartment and what a difficult transition it was being away from home but how it was great to have a partner to make it feel like home.
And that chalkboard canvas idea is ingenious. Thanks for sharing, Sara!
Some really great ideas on keeping things simple and cute for your wedding. And let me just tell everyone go elope!
i agree that there is a lot of inspiration around in the blog world. i just find that if i keep looking i will change my mind. i have a hard time making decisions as it is. hope you had a lovely weekend!
@ mart and lu: Yeah, sometimes you really have to moderate your wedding porn viewing. It can lead to jealousy, indecision, self-doubt, and confusion. Just remember: Your wedding is just one party in a long line of many. Save some of the ideas for your next party!
great ideas!
i loooove that poster! i have been thinking about getting something like that tatooed, i usually think names are tacky but initials like that would be so sweet!
