Dress Giveaway

Yippee! I am honored to host another dress giveaway. Anna would like to bestow her dress upon a 2000dollarwedding kindred spirit "who needs it (or just wants it in the right ways)." I met Anna over a year ago via this blog, so I am giddy to watch everything come full circle. Thanks, Anna!

Here are the logistics:
  1. It's made in the USA
  2. Doesn't have any sort of train (Anna is 5'5 and wore it with flat sandals)
  3. Very comfortable
  4. White, strapless, and has some faint embroidery and a few beads along the top and waist.
  5. Dress is a size Medium, but it's probably about a regular size 8.
  6. You just pay for shipping!

To enter this fabulous giveaway, just leave a comment explaining why you need (or want!) the dress. If you're comfortable doing so, it would also be great for you to leave an e-mail address so we can contact you more easily.

We're still waiting to hear from the winner of our last dress giveaway. Russell Jill, you have one week to e-mail me to claim your awesome dress from Jennie! To everyone else, definitely head over and enter to win Jennie's dress, too, since she might have to pick a new winner next week.

If you have a lovely dress you would like to pass along to a kindred spirit, please let me know! Unfortunately, I can't feature every dress that comes my way, since I like to space them out, but definitely be in touch!

Hello, My name is Joanne and I am having a Spring Wedding on May 7th, 2011! I would love to have that dress, as one its my size, 2 its what I am looking for exactly!, and three we are trying to keep our costs down with a great wedding with lots of time for our family and friends, so if I had the dress the money that I would of spent on it I can invest in food and other things to share with our guests! Plus it is environmentally friendly!

Hi!

I'm Liset ! I have a 3 month old daughter and am getting married THIS November. I have yet to find a dress in my price range, and am contemplating just wearing a dress I already own. : ( We're having a court house wedding, and the reception will be a motorcycle adventure in the streets on san francisco. I really want to wear a beautiful white dress while zooming through the city to relieve falling in love with my fiance, as our first date was a ride over the golden gate bridge!

Thanks for the giveaway.I have been engaged since July 2008 but due to finances we have had to postpone 4 times.I stopped working in 0ct. 2008 due to a family emergency and it is extremely hard planning a wedding on one income alone. No more date changes. Our final date is July 2011.I have not purchased a dress yet.A dress at the moment is last on my list.So many lovely dresses but so expensive most of the time. Thanks for the chance.

This dress give away is what led me to your blog, I am actually excited to read all the archived content as I want an inexpensive wedding. But, it was the dress which initially brought me here, because it has no train, but is full length, which I've got to tell you is hard to find. And, it's my size! Bonus! Getting married Oct 2011, just starting the planning now, but it will be outside, which is why I've been looking for a trainless dress. This would set the perfect tone. Thanks so much for the giveaway, looking forward to reading the archives. Jes Whitman jeswhitman@gmail.com

Oh and I forgot to leave my email! bouley_joanne@hotmail.com.

And I guess I should tell you about my wedding, its going to be very simple, a 2:00 ceremony in a beautiful church, with a reception following the ceremony in the church hall with dinner for our guests. We are opting to have the photos before the ceremony so our guests do not have to wait and everything flows smoother. We have decided not to do a dance, but an untraditional house party after wards with a smaller amount of guests as all of my family lives away, and a few friends, so we can spend more time with them.

Hi there!

Here's an idea: why don't you give it away to everyone who has posted here? Since each wedding is at least a month apart, everyone who has posted so far COULD potentially use it. Then, you still have the same requirement - whoever requests it has to pay the shipping for it to get to her.

October 2011 - Jes W.
November 2011 - Lisette
May 2011 - Jo
July 2011 - Downtown

I hope that the dress thing works out for you all!
