Oil Cloth Basket Liners

Leave it to the folks who work with Martha Stewart to come up with cute and crafty ideas!

I love these baskets lined with oil cloth. Oil cloth is so easy to clean, and it's super-easy to work with because you can cut it into the shape you need and it won't fray. No sewing required!

I had to share this tutorial, in case any of you are inspired to put it to wedding use!

I'm with you on "the folks who work with Martha Stewart." Whether or not you love HER. She really has assembled an amazing team and brand. I love it when one of her people from the magazine come on the show and teach her something. And her products are generally superb - best ice cream scoop I have ever used. :o)

I was pretty bummed out when I found out that oil cloth is usually made vinyl/PVC. Say no to PVC! Though the basket is cute... maybe you could make it with normal fabric? or some kind of plastic alternative to PVC?
