Hi, all! Anna here, stopping in with some ideas for Mandy’s wedding
this fall. Mandy’s idea words were “small” (40 guests), “wine" (her venue is a winery in Niagara Falls), and “stars.” “I used to sit up and look at the stars,” says Mandy. “There are
millions of them!” So in that spirit, here are some star-themed ideas.
What could be more breathtaking for an indoor reception than
bringing the night sky inside? The assembly looks like it may not be for the
faint of heart, but Mandy cited being a crafter, so I bet she and other
DIY-loving brides would be up to the challenge!
Try “Feathered,” a pure white, or the pastel “Something
Blue.” And for a night sky effect, go for “Arsenic,” a silver glitter, over
“Inky,” a deep blue. Cruelty-free and vegan, OCC
also sells make-up and brushes.
The blueberry and cherry fillings in the pictures would be
perfect for Fourth of July next week, but for a star-themed fall wedding, stick
with blueberry for a midnight sky look.
I’m seeing
more and more brides finding ways for guests to reuse glasses instead of
getting a new one for each drink—definitely an eco-friendly touch. And these wine charms can double as favors.
Greet guests with their name, handwritten, and a handful of
stars. I love the idea of using constellation names as table numbers!
A great thank you gift for bridesmaids or any other gal
(or a guy who likes to rock an awesome necklace).
